Product Description
We’re pleased to release our trophy winning 2021 Chardonnay.
Our second release for our Byrne Farm Chardonnay in the cool climate region of Orange, grown at approximately 900m above sea level. The 2021 Vintage was a much cooler/ typical year after the extreme warmth of 2020 with harvest times occurring 4 weeks later than usual. Our Chardonnay was handpicked, whole bunch pressed with the cloudy juice put to large oak for fermentation and aged for 9 months.
This wine shows green apple, white peach and green melon fruits with flinty, textured notes balanced with a mineral, crisp finish.
